Today, my nose started running while in bed with my boyfriend. I kept trying to wipe it off with my arm to avoid ruining the moment. My boyfriend then looks up at me in horror. Turns out it wasn't mucus; it was blood. And it was all over his neck, his shirt, and his silk sheets. FML

Today, I woke to find a pool of my own blood all over my pillow. Frantic to find the source of the blood, I rushed into the bathroom and tripped over my too-long pajama pants. Crashing to the floor face first, I broke my nose. Turns out I had just bitten my lip in the middle of the night. FML

Today, I woke up with a bloody nose and my lamp next to me in bed. Apparently I grabbed the cord of the lamp and yanked while I was sleeping, and it fell on my face. The worst part? My boyfriend saw it was going to happen, but didn't stop me because he thought it would be funny to "see my reaction." FML

I get some pretty awful nosebleeds, and it usually doesn't feel like more than a tickle until it's already dripping. Hasn't happened during sex, thankfully, but it's happened while I was driving. I pulled off on a side street until it stopped, but driving home I was terrified a cop would pull me over because my shirt was COVERED in blood.

i've been a nosebleeder since I was little too. Usually the warmth of the blood coming down my nose is my alert sign. I got used to waking up in the middle of the night with my face covered in blood, my husband, not so much lol

If I get them at night now I usually wake up because the dog is licking me. Often I wake up and freak out because my pillow is wet, but I also drool in my sleep. Ever since I invested in a good humidifier it hasn't been bad outside of allergy season. My boyfriend used to get bad nosebleeds (deviated septum) so he doesn't freak out.
