Today, I was at the hairdresser's getting a trim. The lady doing my hair commented on how beautiful and luscious my hair was, which made me feel really good. I later overheard her telling her colleague that hair as nice as mine was wasted on someone with a face like mine. FML

she's very wrong. everybody is beautiful in their own way. clearly, she doesn't have inner beauty, which is really what counts.

How Rude! Don't listen to her, she is just jealous of your beautiful hair AND FACE! I would honestly call the manager of the salon and tell them, that bitch deserves to be fired.

I've been complimented many times about my hair, but never insulted by the hair dresser. I think that's just low of the hairdresser herself but they have been known to start very rude gossip. Also relax OP, I'm sure you have a very pretty face. :)

hold your head up high :) I'm a hairdresser too, I'm proud of it and I NEVER!!! say anything like that, not in front of the client OR to colleagues it's unprofessional and just brings a real bad vibe into the salon.
