You deserve each other

By best friend! - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - Canada

Today, my best friend informed me that she has been sleeping with my boyfriend. She tried to justify it by saying, "He's just going to break up with you anyway." FML

That's horrible. I can't even begin to imagine what you're feeling. So sorry OP.

Well she's obviously not your best friend if she'd do something shady like that. I would end my friendship with her, and breakup with that scumbag cheating boyfriend.

Some best friend you got there. She sounds more like worst friend!

I feel sorry for your best friend, OP. To have so little respect for her best friend and for herself... Incredible. Really, I don't understand how someone can manage to have sex with a guy who's in a relationship, and therefore has sex with another woman. That idea, to make love with someone who perhaps made love with his girlfriend a couple of hours before, is such a moodbreaker that I could never bring myself to it - but then again, I also have morals. FYL, OP. Lost your best friend and boyfriend, damn.

Call me a creeper, but I've always wanted to see what's under the mask. Sorry to stray from topic. I of course agree with you.

I'm guessing what's under the mask is a face.

DJP- Your comment, above all, is the best one I have seen! You have such a good logic about things. And all of your comments portray you to be level-headed! Keep up the good work! I love reading your comments!

You're better off without both of them if that is how they are going to treat you

It sounds like it's about time to find a new best friend and kick your boyfriend to the curb! What pieces of sh*t!

I feel sorry for you op... But I can't help wondering why the "best friend" would tell her about this.

I feel sorry for. You may though be able to take some positives out of this: you now know she's not your friend, and maybe you can figure out what you were not doing to satisfy your boyfriend that caused him to look elsewhere. Good luck.

I know from experience that a lot of men don't need a reason to cheat. They see something they like, so they're going to go after it. The same goes for women. In my opinion, the BEST thing to do if you are feeling unsatisfied in a relationship, you owe it to your significant other to talk to them about it - not just wander off and bang the first hot thing you see.

So, OP's friend gets the brunt of the blame, and OP's boyfriend gets a pass? That doesn't seem logical to me.

Dump em both....there are better people out there for you....
