Today, I had a job interview for my dream job. Then I got a call saying it was cancelled because of a policy change that was issued this morning. I applied over a month ago. FML

That’s unfortunate, but would you rather have landed the job only to have the policy change wipe it out a few weeks or months later?

I recommended a former coworker a to apply at my work and she was hired. a week later they cut a bunch of jobs including hers

Just because you applied a while ago doesn’t mean a policy change will not apply as it could have been a major change affecting existing staff members employment as well. Dumbass.

Today, I spent a half hour trying to help my cat down after he got stuck in the tree on my lawn. I finally gave up and called a local tree care company to help. When I returned outside, I found my cat casually walking about by the door. The guy who showed up to help was not happy. FML

Today, my body has always been in a perfect cycle. The week after my ovulation, I start getting (in order, on a daily basis) dryness, itching, low energy, depression, manic mood swings, loss of appetite, bloating, and finally, when the back pain comes, my period. It all hit me in one day. Why? FML
