Same with me- boyfriend told me to try the beta (I was dead-set against paying monthly for a GAME), got instantly hooked. Four years later, my boyfriend and I are still playing WoW together when we can't be together IRL. Turned out to be a great thing for us! ^^

I played the game for about a month, grew tired of it. I don't see whats so addicting about it. Good game though.

I think I've heard a news story a while ago about a girl who didn't eat, didn't sleep, didn't drink for like 3 days straight cuz she couldn't stop playing WoW... ^ I'm not of sure the exact story tho, so those facts might be wrong
