Today, I failed on a school presentation because I was not prepared. Apparently, the fact that my computer crapped itself and started giving off smoke last period isn't a good reason for not having my presentation prepared. FML

Today, I was giving a presentation at work but accidentally spilled water all over my laptop. I tried to dry it off, but it wouldn't turn on. I had to give the presentation awkwardly using my phone and everyone took the piss out of me and my shoddy performance. FML

Today, I had a presentation for my university class. The bus was 5 minutes late, and I ended up getting to class right on time. As I took a seat, my group was asked to present. I panicked and totally bombed my presentation. FML

Today, I had a big presentation at work and I was feeling really confident. I'd practiced it over and over and I knew it inside out. But when I got up to speak, I realized I had left my notes at home. I ended up winging it and it was a disaster. FML

Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. I stumbled through the presentation, feeling the embarrassment steadily grow in front of my colleagues. I almost passed out. FML

Today, I had to do a PowerPoint presentation alone, since none of my group members showed up. I was given a big fat 0 for doing the presentation alone. It was worth 50% of my grade. FML

1) always have It on an email so you can just use another computer 2) improvise (unless you have scientific graphs), you should know what you are saying anyway, never just read from the presentation itself

That's why I always save any important document/presentation to google drive. Instant access from any computer. A flash drive works well too.

Sorry, OP. It really sucks that happened but you should have had a backup on a USB. I always bring my USB stick with my presentation on it just in case my laptop throws a tantrum.

Well it's not. Flash drives, dude. Email the file to yourself and open it on the teacher's computer. SkyDrive. Ask if you can present like it's 1992 without technology. It's your own fault for not backing it up.
