Today, I came back from a holiday and the friend who'd been looking after my cats returned my spare key. When I wanted to put some relaxing music on, I noticed that he'd switched most of my CDs around in their cases. I have over a thousand of them. Very funny, thanks. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I were wondering whose extra spare key was on the counter when we came home. Turns out it's his ex's and she returned it, while neither of us were home. We're still taking inventory to see what's missing. FML

Today, my "friend" came over. I caught him trying to steal my iPod on the way out. Proud of myself for catching him, I asked him to leave, only to realize that I had forgotten to actually take the iPod back from him before he left. FML

Today, the room I am renting from an old lady is stuffed with porcelain figures, etc. I carefully put them into the drawers to create some space for the books I need for college. While I was gone, she used her key and put all the porcelain figures back on the shelves. FML

Today, I was over at a friend's house feeding her cats while she was on vacation. After feeding the four of them, I found an extra cat under the sofa. Thinking it was an intruding stray, I kicked it out. She actually has 5 cats. FML

Today, I came home after a long day at work to find the furniture in my living room had been rearranged by my mother-in-law. When asked how she got in, she told us she stole my husband's key and made herself a copy. She can now come here whenever she wants, unless I change the locks. FML

I hope one of the first ones you find is that Dionne Warwick/Stevie Wonder/Gladys Knight/Elton John song "That's What Friends Are For." You can play it over and over again ironically as you do your tedious sorting.

Vinyl degrades. Usually pretty badly pretty quickly. Theyre also massive and need players, Which also have degradable parts. CDs are great, but honestly, WAVs/FLACs are the way to go. But if I had 1000 CDs collected, I would still keep it for impressing people

Maybe he thought you needed something to do in your spare time? Look at it this way, at least now you'll go through your collection, see what you have amassed over the years, realize it is a waste of space and get an iPod! Welcome to the future my friend, it is a wonderful place to be!
