This is an awesome trick that I need to pull on someone... ASAP.
With the crappy touchpad on most laptops and a carefully-coordiated prankster's erratic tweaks to the intended motions, this sort of thing can easily go undetected for days.
The weight idea is brilliant!
If you can have a little quality with the one guys computer you can replace all the icons one the desktop with troll files, for example you can take an IE shortcut, replace the icon with google chrome, and then rename it google chrome so whenever he tries to use it, he'll pull up IE instead
I like how people who work with computers for a loving don't recognize a simple thing as an extra USB in their ports...
