She's still a child. I'm 13, and even I will admit that age 13 is considered being a child. The OP could still discipline her. If I were her mom, I'd beat her ass (even though I can't stand it when people fight).

Eh? Sounds real responsible if you ask me. I was taught from the start to save my money for the future. I have over a thousand hidden in my room alone, and I only spend some of it if I have to (maybe not even then). I'm sure your parents/guardians and are soo proud of you for being a little money spender. I undstand it is really easy to rack up how much someone spends with prices being the way they are, but still.... Unless you are rich and your family has good paying jobs, its probably not the best thing to do. But this coming from someone's perspective whose family always takes care of their medical and personal needs before even thinking about the fact that I exist.

Kids these days, I would dead if I EVER did that. I would take about 250 worth with the belt, no christmas, and would make sure she got a job to pay all of it back.
