Maybe OP has a medical issue that makes him smelly. I knew a girl that had that problem and the only thing that helped was a diet change. Good luck OP and I hope you have a job to go back to.

Perhaps, instead of hand sanitiser (note the word HAND), you could get in the shower and use what I usually call 'shower gel' or 'soap'. Also, always carry emergency deodorant if you get a bit whiffy during work!
