Today, I went for a lunch interview for my dream job. The interview was great and at the end, I tried to seal the deal by complimenting my future boss. I said, "You're really hardworking. Do you always work on a Saturday?" He looked at me, smiled and then wrote something down. Today's Friday. FML

Today, I went to a job interview super early and giddy with enthusiasm. While waiting in the lobby, I struck up a friendly conversation with a bloke who was also waiting around in a suit. I jokingly told him, “Good luck mate, but I’m getting this job.” Turns out he was the hiring manager. FML

lolz @19 Honestly, if the rest of your interview went as great as you say it did, I wouldn't think it would reflect negatively on you too much. Simple mistake that everyone makes.

Ever since I have been out of work I keep forgetting what day it is. Without my normal daily routine time just runs together now, so i can see how that happens. If you don't get the job becasue of that the guy is a douche and you are probably better off.

Im a little confused. I think its because I cant work yet, so Ive never had a job interview. But what was wrong with the OP saying it is Saturday and not Friday?
