Today, my fiancée informed me she wants us to go on a cruise for her birthday. I replied, "Ahhh cruise ships, the Walmart of the Seven Seas." She threw a mixer at my feet and told me I ruin everything. FML

She will just get you socks for your BD. Insist that you will do the cruise if she takes you to Disney land/world for a week for yours. Don't settle for double standards.

I think that's funny LOL! A cruise is a heck of a birthday present. Hope it's in your budget. But if that's how she reacts to a joke, I don't think she deserves such a gift.
