That kind of stings, because you were judged by someone near the top of the food chain. If he were wearing pink closed-toe shoes, that would have been an alpha male, and your fate would be sealed! Flip-flops are a hazard.

There once was a man yelling obscenities on the train I took. I looked at my friend and raised my eyebrow, he saw it and yelled: YEAH? LIKE YOU'RE NORMAL! Not such a big deal. Although an old man with pink flip-flops and a purple moped must be a sight worth seeing.
