Hobby lobby

Today, I signed up for a pottery class because I wanted a relaxing hobby, but also because I saw the movie "Ghost" recently and it looked chill. My first attempt at a bowl flew off the wheel, hit a shelf, and cracked someone’s finished mug. The instructor nodded at my clay-covered hands and arms, and said, “You’ve got… energy.” FML

For anyone else commenting, it’s actually really hard to do these because you have to have a lot of strength in your hands as you’re fighting a spinning object that is quite heavy with a high momentum and if you get it too fast, it will tear apart and not stay in place. So your hands are frequently trying to correct its trajectory and if you don’t have the strength which most people starting out, don’t they can get away from you
