Today, I went to a gig. The drummer threw his drumsticks out at the end and I managed to catch one. With my face. Not only did I get a black eye, but the person next to me snatched the drumstick from my hands. FML

Today, the drummer from my favorite band threw a drumstick into the crowd during a concert. It hit me on the head and bounced into my friend's hands. She left with a drumstick from a band she didn't want to see in the first place. I left with a bruise. FML

Today, my band went to play a set for the first time. I'm the drummer. All was going well, and then before our first song I threw the sticks in the air, went to catch them, and one hit me right in the eye. I couldn't continue playing. Now I have to wear an eyepatch. FML

Today, my band was playing its first serious gig. I was in the middle of a solo when a drunk guy tackled me, causing me to crash into the drums, breaking them and my guitar, hitting our drummer, knocking him out. FML

Today, I was jamming out and playing some air guitar. I somehow managed to knee myself directly in my left eye socket. I now have a hideously swollen face and a black eye. When people ask me what happened, I'll be hesitant to tell the truth. FML

Today, I was singing and playing keyboards with my band on stage at a club. A drunken chick from the crowd tried to climb up onto the stage in her heels, fell, and grabbed the back of my mic stand to catch herself. And busted me in the mouth with my own microphone. Then she requested a song. FML

Today, I had my first gig with my new band. I was concentrating on my guitar during the second song when I tripped over the singer's microphone cable, hit my head on the bass drum, and blacked out. When I came to, people were applauding, apparently thinking it was part of the act. FML

Today, I went to a local concert. The singer from my favorite band stage-dived and I got to catch him. Unfortunately I was the only one to catch him. The next thing I know I'm pinned between him and the concrete floor as he finishes whatever part of the song he was on. He was fine, I hit my head. FML

I got hit in the head with a popular drummers drumstick tip that broke and flew towards me during a football game. Someone always got the drummers' ripped up sticks at the end of the game and he promised me that I was getting his at the end since his managed to whop me lol

I hope the drummer was kind enough to notice and see if your face was alright. Something similar happened at a Maroon 5 concert. The microphone quit working and as Adam Levine was shaking it, thinking that would get it to work for some reason, it slipped from his hand and went flying, clocking someone in the face. He checked to see if that person was okay.

Should've snatched it back. You already had a black eye and that was your goddamn drumstick. You had nothing to lose at that point. People like this ruin concerts and sporting events for everyone and really need to be taught a lesson.

A girl at a concert got hit in the face with the drummers drumsticks, ended up having to have 4 stitches. Don't know if she got the drumsticks but I hope she did.

OP here. The band I saw was Judas Priest so it was a pretty important stick! Unfortunately the crowd was so big that aside from the surrounding people going "ooooh", no one else really noticed, so I didn't get to meet the drummer. And this also meant that the person could run away and vanish forever before I worked out who it was. So I just pretend I'm happy enough to say I've been hit in the face by a special drum stick!
