i got my first hangover 8 years before the legal drinking age... hungover at the moment actually. except nobody has ever gotten mad about me feeling like shit besides myself
in Australia and England we say "mum" instead of "mom"
Seriously, dude? You have access to t.v. (I'm assuming) and internet and you don't know that the UK, Australia and parts of Africa say "mum?" I mean, even if you only read FML, you should know that by now.
#55, I'm pretty sure you just blew his mind
Ugh. I hate when people do that. My mom freaked out for me having a glass of wine at thanksgiving (granted I am underage, but in MA if the drink is given to you by your parents, in your own home, it's legal. I was at my fathers at the time), meanwhile, her entire closet, under her bed, in rarely used kitchen cabinets, and hidden among boxes in the basement were who knows how many empty vodka bottles.
Maybe she just doesn't want you to end up like her. Didja think of that one, OP? Either way, FYL.
move out, dumbshit.
The cool thing about being grown up is that you learn to take things with a grain of salt. She may be hypocritically upset because she (somewhere in her mind) realizes she's an alcoholic and that it may run in the family.
I was thinking that as well. She sees what alcohol has done to her and doesn't want you to end up like her so she yelled at you.
Um, where does it say the OP still lives at home? Guess I never got the memo parents can't get mad and bitch about stupid things after we move out.
call her out on the alcohol issue
