Today, I realized that my husband has a video games addiction. I am currently pregnant; he brought us to the same country he's in so we can finally live together, only for me to witness him being glued to his laptop all day and all night playing WoW. He's forgotten I even existed. FML

My boyfriend has a XBOX 360 addiction. Try getting into WoW so you'll have a commen interest. You know what they say "Cant beat 'em, join 'em"!

I completely understand your predicament, OP. I had the same issue with my hubby when I first moved in. We had a son together, and he completely ignored both of us, so I gave him an ultimatum: Either WoW or your family. If he loves you, he'll understand. Hope it all works out for ya. (:

On the WOW and lovers subject. Both my partner and I play. She plays more than I do and I end up feeling ignored a lot. I'm sorry you have become so invisible. Happy to talk to anyone about this and share.

If u let him continue playing, you will be raising that baby all on your own. You will be doing all the housework too, alone. Either you put ur foot down or leave him. Otherwise you're just gonna get pist cuz he's right in front of you & doesn't acknowledge you! Trust me, I left my husband cuz he did the same damn thing! It just gets worse the longer you allow him to play. If he gives you attitude when you don't allow him to play then he's addicted and u have a serious problem. I've been there, it's not worth the fight. If the game gets more time and attention then you and he doesn't figure out his priorities, then seriously dump him. Life is too short to waste it watching the back of ur husbands head & being angry with him all the time. I was married for 21 years, and was fed up with the inconsiderate and selfish ways! And do tell me why they should split up over this? Why have the one extreme or the other? Why not just meet in the middle? Help him get over his gaming addiction without telling him to stop playing totally?

OMG ME TOO. I mean I like video games, don't get me wrong. But my Aunt (Long story I don't want to get into rn) and my Dad...play WoW. Constantly. She has no job so its WoW, MORNING AND NIGHT ALL DAY EVERYDAY. Which whatever, I could take. It's the fact that they're barely ten feet away from each other on computers and yet feel compelled to yell across the way because they refuse to get hearing aids.
