Why would you break up with anyone in in front of "dozens of people" in the first place? - Especially if you would get embarrassed by his reaction? Don't you think this kind of thing through? "Lemme see, pick up dry cleaning, wash the car ... oh, and break up with boyfriend. Look at that, I could do it all at the Mall and save two trips!"
