Desperate times

Today, I got a criminal record and a court date, all because I’m a single mom struggling to pay rent and feed my 3 kids, and I was desperate enough to trust a random man who told me to cash a fraudulent check. He dropped me off at the bank and ghosted me when I was being interrogated and booked by the cops. FML

Yeah, it’s not always smart to just do whatever some random strangers tells you to do like that.

Either you knew this was fraudulent, or you are too stupid to raise kids. A random guy drives you up to a bank and says "Please walk 50 feet into that bank and cash this suspiciously large check for me, in exchange for $50. I would do it myself, but walking from here to the teller is just too difficult." You heard that and thought "What's the worst that could happen?"

Being a “single mom” is a colossal over used joke; no one cares, and it garners zero sympathy. It’s not a coupon code getting you out of bad decisions and/or getting you deals. Grow up!!
