You were absolutely right to end the engagement. It should be you and him before everyone else. You'll figure it out with the baby- he can pay child support or there's open or closed adoption. This is your ship: Take the helm.

Well you are clearly not part of his family then. But you will have a real family with your baby.

As someone who grew up in a culture with that mindset, good move. Nothing good ever comes out of that (in America at least).

If you just found out, it's probably not too late for an abortion. Adoption is also always an option.
