Today, the dry skin on my feet has gotten so bad that my boyfriend uses my feet to itch his legs when we're cuddling. FML

Hey, OP here. I lotion my feet multiple times a day. I also work at a place that requires me to constantly be on my feet. It's not like I don't try to fix it. I've had it for a long time now, I even have my own pedicure instruments and sugar scrub, but it doesn't help get my feet 100% smooth.

Maybe time for a pedicure? Some exfoliation and good lotion would do you some good. Take care of yourself!

You know NY is just more than NYC right? For all we know, OP could live in a rural town that doesn't have a nail salon.

Sometimes you can use all the lotion you want but it doesn't help. Where I am right now, I have to put it on every five minutes and my skin still dries out and cracks. It could just be a combination of the weather and humidity. One thing I have started using which helps slightly is hydrocortisone. It at least keeps it softer a little longer.

Pumice stone. Rasp. Emory paper. There are even 4-in-1 tools that have all the aforementioned as well as bristles that you can buy at any major pharmacy or department store. Find them. Use them.

You mean scratch his legs? I hate when people use itch instead of scratch. An itch is what you have, scratch is what you do to it. I know people say it all the time, but it drives me insane.
