Today, I thought I would make my first trip to the beach. While in the water, I was stung by a jellyfish. My friend had to pee on me. I went back into the water to wash the pee off and got stung by another jellyfish. FML

Did you make your friend pee on you again? Did you stare at his/her genitals while they peed? Did a lot of pee get on an area that wasn't stung? It's this sort of information that leaves me unable to choose between FML/YDI.

Haha. I got stung by a jellyfish a few years ago.. no piss necessary. A few painkillers, one ointment cream, and two hours laying down with my leg elevated sent the pain away. Sucks to be you.

Pee is not good for a jellyfish sting, it could cause a serious infection plus that is just gross. Simply hot water helps just to clean it.

You know, that happened on FRIENDS. I don't believe you

Some of you are so unfairly vicious. The pee thing doesn't work, but not everyone knows this because it is a widespread myth perpetuated further by a stupid TV show. Going back into the water is the best thing you can do for pain relief. It's not like the jellyfish is lurking and seeking out a victim. That's just bad luck. I would certainly consider this an FML because 1. Getting stung by a jellyfish sucks, 2. The peeing was unecessary and probably awkward, and 3. The second sting was freakish.

FFS people, just being so in your face. He deserves it for what? For not ******* being perfect? It's a widespread myth and people sometimes tend to stick to them.

105 had to say it. There's always at least one. So I guess peeing on it doesn't work? Lol who cares, honestly
