Today, my best friend and I were discussing our plans for families in the future and I asked her to be my future child's godparent. She agreed, then proceeded to let me know that she didn't want me to ever meet her kids, because she wanted them to grow up without the influence of such a loser.

Today, I finally noticed that my new coworker, with whom I have to share an office, starts every sentence with, "I mean…", then a pause, then says whatever he has to say. I can't un-notice it now, and it's like hearing nails on a chalkboard. FML

Today, my mother told me that the carbon-monoxide alarm went off last night, but since she didn't smell any gas, she decided to just remove the batteries and go back to bed. I had to explain to her that you can't smell carbon monoxide, and that we could have died in our sleep. FML
