Today, I slipped in the bathroom at the pool, while wearing shoes. I slammed my hand into the ceramic light switch faceplate, and my foot put a hole in the tiled wall. Both my brothers saw it, I will never hear the end of this. FML

Today, I knew my girlfriend's dad owned a security company. What I did not know was that he treats his employees like family, so my girlfriend has about 40 scary uncles who’ve known her since she was a baby, and most of them are ex-military. FML

Today, I got an expensive return bus ticket to visit my family 200 miles away. I accidentally tore the ticket when taking it from the machine, but the driver said not to worry, as it would still be accepted on the way back. Guess who's still 200 miles from home. FML

Today, I was hit by a car speeding through an intersection after the light had already turned red. Still partly blacked out, I crawled onto the sidewalk and I sat down. The woman rolled down her car window and yelled, "Watch where you're going!" as she drove by. FML

Today, in the gyno's waiting room, I was the only non-pregnant woman. One of the women made a remark saying, "Wow look at you, the only one not experiencing morning sickness, gas, and cramps" and laughed. Little did she know I just had my third miscarriage last week and would die to experience those things. FML
