Today, my girlfriend of eight years explained to me that the Egyptian pyramids were built by aliens from Mars. I have a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Anthropology, and I'm working on my Ph.D. She thinks I'm an irrational idiot for telling her she's wrong. FML

Today, I found out that one of my colleagues believes that aliens built the pyramids. No amount of logical reasoning or evidence has had any effect on his argument of, "but you can't prove they didn't." FML

I also learned that the notebooks she's been writing in for the past three years aren't for her "doctorate in literature" as she had told me, they were notes on my behavior for the past 3 years. FML

well done on going for the PhD, I reckon you should get really upity about it and create a power point slide show explaining why you're right and shes wrong. Don't let her just have her belief, really get invasive about it. say the relationship depends on her admitting she was wrong and pretending she was joking. (not being sarcastic, people with degrees have to do these things)

The pyramids were built with anti-gravity rods, and yes, they were given to us by aliens. How else do you think they got those tons of blocks PERFECTLY stacked up??? We have trouble lifting one of those blocks with our "advanced" machines. The biggest lie we've ever been told is that the technology we have now is the best we've ever had and this is a good as it gets. The pyramids are not just a monument, they are a mechanism! A machine no one can touch or destroy, and the fact that they're standing despine all these CENTURIES is proof of that! And oh yeah, aliens most certainly exist!
