I don't see how that's offensive at all. I think he just sees you as modest and can appreciate it. I'm not saying what's modest or not, I just come from a very conservative family and can understand why someone might feel that way.

I don't think I can truly judge the guy in question, because sometimes people say things in a good way, and the OP may have taken it wrong. . Who knows. :/ I personally find one-piece bathing suits a lot more attractive. A little more to the imagination is much better than seeing it all in one go.

I think he thanked you because many kids go to water parks and he was gracious that you chose an appropriate type of swimwear. I know myself that some parents don't want their lifeguard to have their cleavage bulging out of their top.. It would be inappropriate

Oh no, some people have boobs and *gasp* cleavage!! Won't someone think of the CHILDREN?! I don't understand the sexualization of breasts. Like, you do realize that lots of people (and maybe even you) drank from those things as a baby? They are literally UDDERS, for all intents and purposes.
