Today, my car's parking gear and parking brake failed. I watched as it rolled down a big hill into someone's 2017, $30,000 camper. FML

That's why when you park facing up a hill you turn your wheels towards the street or when parking facing down the hill you turn the wheel towards the curb so that way if your parking brake fails you don't roll into other things. This is basic driver's ed shit. You deserve it, dumbass.

It’s highly unlikely that both failed simultaneously. More likely OP forgot to take it out of gear or neutral and didn’t set the parking brake when they got out.

OP here! I actually did have my brakes set. I've been having issues with my axel lately and it slipped out when my friend bumped my steering wheel as he reached into my car from the window.

What kinda cheap camper is a year 2017 and only 30k
