i think its absolutely ridiculous that people are "defending" pitbulls. the writer of this fml did not say that she hated pitbulls, just that her neighbor's attacked her and her stepdad and now he got another one. because of their bad experience with the last pitbull, wouldn't it be obvious that one would be concerned of the same thing happening. you don't have to be all asshole like, "i hope a chihuahua attacks you" ...seriously, wtf? .. holy ****, just cause you like pitbulls doesn't mean they don't attack people.

Sounds like he isn't very good with dogs. If you get attacked, sue him. He is the one liable for not taking care of a potentialy dangerous animal.

Pitbulls should be exterminated as a breed. Anyone caught harboring one should be fined on the first offence and imprisoned on the second offence. Get some raw meat and lace it with poison. Eliminate the dogs.

All of you people saying "pit bulls are all wonderful dogs because I/my cousin/my aunt/my girlfriend have/had/has one and it's super sweet and wouldn't harm a fly" are IGNORANT. OBVIOUSLY the first pit bull the neighbor had was ill manored. Why the hell would this dog attack someone for no apparent reason and not be considered a bad tempored dog? Honestly, I doubt this neighbor raise the dogs right. So you can go on talking about how YOUR pitbull is sweet, but that doesn't mean THIS pitbull is. You're all being hypocritical when you say op is generalizing, you're generalizing that because your pb is nice, most ofthem are. Which is completely false! Yes they are bred to be aggresive, that doesn't mean yours is, but the neighbors new dog is bogged than the old dog. Implying that it is not a puppy and therefore may or may not be aggresive already and if it is aggressive will be ridiculously difficult to train unless you get a professional to help. That's why most pitbulls when brought in to animal shelters are put down, because they don't pass the tests all dogs have to go through to be eligible for adoption. Most of them don't pass because of the way they've been brought up. Just saying...
