Today, I went to my orthodontist where I was informed that I'll going to the prom, to my brother's wedding, and maybe to university with braces in my mouth. FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

This is ridiculous. They're BRACES. I know people who would love to have braces because their teeth are crooked. OP, you are so melodramatic and whiny. You need to get over yourself. At least you have your real teeth.

how is that an fml? i had braces for about 2 years and it's not the end of the world, i mean, when u have them off ur gonna have perfect teeth, what's so bad about that?

i went to prom with braces! it was cute, i matched them to my dress! Juss bring a pick, cuz having food in your braces is NOT ATTRACTIVE!!

Come on, its not that bad, braces dont look that bad. I am 17 turning 18 and i will have my braces on for a long time more and i already had these braces or over 2 years. I went through prom with braces. Just do something nice with your eyes and hair. It is easy to attract peoples attention from the braces. I will have to have my senior picture with braces. So 3/4 high school pictures are with braces.
