Today, I wanted to surprise my long distance girlfriend by flying to her unannounced. When I arrived at her house, her family tells me that she herself boarded an unannounced flight to where I lived hours ago. Surprise. FML

Maybe you can both fly back and meet somewhere in the middle. At least you didn't get there to find out she cheated on you or dumped you, so it's not much of a true FML

Some are saying YDI and that he should've told her of his plan. But hey, it goes both ways! She could've just as well told him instead! But since they both had the same spontaneous romantic idea they can't really be blamed. I think it's sweet, if not a little bit tragic.
