If you haven't had your period in three months, you might want to visit the doctor. (Yeah, I know, a lot of people are saying this. They're right.) Skipping one period isn't a huge concern, but not having your period for three months if you aren't pregnant is. (I've had long stretches without a period, but then I'm in my late 40s and suspect I'm perimenopausal.)
Does your mother know that you're a lesbian? If not, I can understand why she'd jump to that conclusion. Are you on one of those birth controls that prevent you from having periods for so many months? If not, I'd definitely consult a doctor. I've heard of skipped periods, but not for three consecutive months.
If you're not on any type of birth control or other medication that can stop your period, you probably need a doctor's visit to your OBGYN.
Seek medical attention
But, were you a lesbian 4 months ago?

Still, that's a bit strange. you might want to consult a doctor OP.
That sucks, OP. I'm sorry. I'm a lesbian, and I once went a whole year without my period. When I went to the doctor about it, multiple times, I had to be super clear right up front that there was zero possibility of pregnancy at all.
