Today I told my daughter that me and my new wife do not want my ex-wife to attend my daughters wedding, my ex did raise her from 3-18 years of age but it would cause me and my new wife upset to see her, I have said I will not come to her wedding if my ex is invited and she still will NOT un-invite her.. FML

You POS! I’m a daughter in the same boat! I want both my parents there and neither will come if the other does.. also getting the emotional black mail bullshit of ‘it will break my heart if I’m not there to walk you down the isle’ from both parents... You, don’t deserve your daughter and you don’t deserve to go to this wedding. It’s your daughter’s day, man the **** up, and tell your new wife to do the ******* same! You are a disgrace to your daughter, how ******* dare you!

Grow up and stop being selfish. This is your daughters wedding and she wants both her parents there. She chooses who attends, not you and you can't dictate who she does or doesn't invite. The fact that you don't want to see your ex is too bad for you, but if you don't attend, your daughter may never forgive you (and justifiably so). Put on your big boy pants and suck it up and attend for your daughter's sake and without causing issues because her mother is there.
