u deserve everything u got...crule ****** puttin electric shocking collars on ur dogs! put it round ur own neck n c what it's like!
its very low voltage, just enough to keep the animals in. its like spanking a kid wen their bad
everyone has their own opinion. mine however is I believe shock collars are no good. for one, u do not know how it feels unless u actually put it on urself and let it shock u. (which is totally stupid) And even if u do know how it feels, u are not a dog. the intensity is likely to be different between u and ur pet. just like some people can handle pain better/more than others, dogs may not handle it so well. also, shock collars can confuse the poor dog. maybe they don't associate the shock to the fence or whatever u are training it to do/not to do. for example if a dog barks and there is a person walking by, the shock can be teaching the dog to fear people/strangers. those collars just cause anxiety for ur pet and it just itsnt fair. there are other solutions if u have the dedication and if u have a pet u should love it. and if u love it u should have that dedication to train it without causing it to go through any amount of pain.
>op what pleasure do you get off of tourchering the dogs What pleasure do you take from misinterpreting and contorting statements? As well as the irrational line of thought I suppose.
tourcher? really?! torture torturing... ur an idiot
43 So are you. You're* Your capitalization could use some work too. Am I being an ass? Maybe, but so were you.

I can't say its cruel since most dogs have a higher pain tolerance but personally I prefer a fly swatter to their behinds cause its less expensive and doesn't cause the mild confusion that you can have with an electric shock
That must have been very shocking for you.
^^like^^
who let the dogs out?
You completely deserve it for being cruel to your dogs. I have owned dogs all my life (I currently have 2) and never needed a shock collar. Just train them properly! I dont even see why you need them if you have a good fence to stop the dogs escaping anyway, why use fear and pain to stop them escaping when a good fence would do the same? I hope it happens to you again and again.
Train them from not leaving the yard? Yeah, right.
ever dog ive had has been trained to stay in the yard. its not hard at all. my 4 month old puppy already knows.
My dog is just over a year old, and she is extremely obedient. She will not leave the front yard without someone from the family with her, she comes when called, knows all commands, does what she is told, etc. I did not use a shock collar. I think it's a bit cruel. All it takes is time and some work. You need to train your own dog so it respects you and listens to you. It has no respect for your commands if your using a shock collar. Your not the one disciplining it in the dogs eyes.
haha. how do you like it?
i just want to say that while shock collars might not be exactly pain-free ways of teaching your dogs, its useful if you dont have a good enough fence to keep them in, or if you dont want to neuter or gas them.

now you know how your poor dogs feel, that is the most epic form of karma. you most certainly deserved it!
well if they didn't have their collars they'd get lost and end up in a shelter or dead
