Not knowing the entire constellation, it's hard to tell how bad it is. If OP and roommate are drawn to each other, it could be a good starter to steamy romance. But being posted here probably means OP is not able to imagine roomie as a potential partner ... too bad for roomie ... or OP. Sometimes great things are just in front of our nose and our focus is shifted too far out to see them clear.
