Today, I drove 2 hours to spend the night with a man who I have been seeing for a few weeks. We had sex for the first time. About an hour later, he told me he wasn't really into me and asked to be friends. Then, he apologised because he has herpes. FML

Today, I drove over 3 hours to hook up with a guy I've been talking to for a couple of months. When we start having sex, he lasted less than a minute, and then couldn't get it up again afterwards. I slept uncomfortably the entire night on his twin bed while he snored. FML

Today, my boyfriend, who I have been seeing for a year, decided to tell me that he has herpes and has not taken any precautions to stop it from passing on. We have had unprotected sex quite a lot over the last year, so now I most likely have herpes too. FML

The dude is a scumbag. First that he had you drive two hours for a booty call, second that he waited until afterwards to tell you he just wanted to be friends, and third that he didn't tell you that he has an STI until after you had sex. That said, this is a reminder that you always use a condom when having sex, especially with someone new.

If anyone is truly curious about herpes look up Adam Ruins Everything episode Adam Ruins Sex. An insane amount of the world population has herpes and you probably already had it. Some tests don't show everything.
