Today, I decided it was time to have "the talk" with my daughter, after I found a thong in the washing machine. She denied it was hers and pointed out how it was too big to fit her. I ended up having a very different talk with my son. FML

Today, a woman and her daughter came into the store I work at. The girl placed a pair of underpants on the counter, and confessed she had stolen them earlier. Assuming she had already heard a lecture, I simply thanked her for bringing them back. Her mom yelled at me for not yelling at her. FML

You only explain things to your kids after you find a different kind of underwear? They should be updated on all "butterflies and bees" step by step according to their age, not pour it all over them like ice bucket challenge. Allow their brains to work with information you (not anybody else/internet) supplied, and you don't have to spy in the dirty washing.

It's a personal preference. Nothing wrong with wanting to try something different out of curiosity. It might be a gift? Why are u checking out on their choice of underwears and having parental talks about this?
