I feel like a bad person for you OP but I had to watch that same video with State Farm. But I also did the normal driving school stuff for my permit and license.

Look at it this way. Taking those classes and studying will make you a better and safer driver. He may also have the discount, but you have skills and knowledge that could save your life and the lives of others. All he has is 15% off car insurance that he will be making claims with.

You'll be benefitting from what you learned in that driving school. It's time very well spent! And your friend will be one of those sitting in the ditch at the first glance of snow, while you're cruising past with a winning smile... So **** his life :-)

No no no... State farm requires that to get the safe driving discount... Trust me! You need 30 hours in class and 6 on the road with a instructor!
