Would you have liked it better if everyone forgot your birthday, it's the thought that counts. And maybe mouth wash was on sale......

A little passive-agressive, but trust that they wouldn't have done it if it wasn't needed. I might add, brushing and mouthwash will NOT be enough. You need to floss as well. Daily. With a fluoride dental floss. DAILY. And if anyone offers you gum or a breath mint, take it.

It seems apparent that you probably need it, but it probably would have been better if they would have mentioned something before the day they did that. Just to mess with them, I would gargle it very loud right there at the desk and spit it into the most commonly-used trashcan at the place. If someone asks what you are doing, tell them you are taking the hint and wanted to use the new gift right away!
