Today, a crow somehow got stuck in my ceiling. It's been making tons of noise for 9 hours now, including crowing very loudly. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, I have no access to the attic and the property owner doesn't give a shit. FML

Today, my neighbors in the apartment above me yet again had a loud fight, well past midnight while I was trying to sleep. I stood on my bed and pounded on the ceiling to shut them up. And now I'll have to explain the two fist-shaped holes in the ceiling to my landlord. FML

Today, it's 1 a.m. and once again a freaking bird has flew into my house from the attic. My cats are of course all crazy right now as it sits in my room, in a high corner beyond reach. My children are sleeping and I have no way to let it outside from where it is right now. Oh and it's freezing outside. FML

I don't know if animal control charges or anything, but if they do, call them and then demand the landlord pays it. I believe the pure fact the landlord is ignorant like that; you could definitely cause him some legal trouble. I'd hope so at least

Just call animal control. If they cannot access the attic they will demand the landlord gives them access or hold him liable for animal cruelty which is a fine.
