Stumped

Today, while reading some chemistry notes, I came across the term "solid water". Completely stumped, I asked myself, "What the hell is solid water?" Then I heard my little cousin say, "Ice." I'm a 4th year science major in university. He still checks the closet for monsters. FML

It's okay, when you study so much you can have stupid lapses like that.

It happens. You don't really realize what some things are at first, even if it should be obvious.

make no mistake, the kid didn't get lucky. he put two and two together with his common sense. I've seen many people that graduated from ivy leauge schools that had zero common sense. you may have book smarts but you'll be calling him when you need to build that chair from walmart. that's what's wrong with this society. you'll probably be my boss someday.

You stop remembering the basics after a while. I once had to think hard about how to multiply. It was pretty bad

a science major is general sciences bud : physics, calc, chem, bio, etc... the real classes not arts

... Have you ever taken three studio art classes at once?

Everybody's brain goes into vaporlock every once in awhile.

Don't feel bad. Most of the people on this website probably wouldn't get it either. At-least you can be proud that you have some scientific education, unlike most people on the internet.
