Today, I only just found out that the abbreviation "lbs" is actually short for pounds. I've been saying "labs" my entire life. I'm 21. FML

in my head i always read it as "libs" but i have never said it outloud! FYL, hopefully you didnt find out in too much of an embarassing way! haha

Don't feel too bad, I've found a lot of people get that confused. For my work we just put the # symbol after the weight so there's no confusion.
