Today, my shower is being renovated so I washed my hair in the kitchen sink. I put my two year-old son on the counter next to me so I could keep him close. As I was rinsing out my hair, my son started playing with the light switches. He flicked the garbage disposal by accident. FML

Today, I took a shower while my two-year-old slept. In the 30 minutes it took me to shower, get dressed, and go back to his room, he had woken up, taken his pants and diaper off, and smears crap all over himself and his bed. FML

Today, my 3-year-old came to me very excited because he had gone to the bathroom by himself for the first time. What he did not tell me was that he had shit on the floor, and when I went into the bathroom to check, I slipped on a turd and knocked myself out on the sink. FML

Today, I found out that if you let your son install a new shower head, he won't tighten it properly. So when you turn the shower on, it will shoot out at rocket speed, hitting you in the face. Then when you grab the shower handle to prevent yourself falling backwards, you will just rip that out and hit your head again. FML

#28: Haha! That's what I was thinking. :-D OP: As others have said, you deserve it! If you have a two-year-old, then you should know they're going to play with things. If you wanted to make sure he wasn't messing with things, bring a playpen into the kitchen. Or stick him in a high chair *properly* strapped down!!!!! You never ever ever ever ever put a child on a counter when you aren't standing directly in front of him holding him in place making sure that he isn't about to fall and preventing him from touching things that could hurt him or others. It's common sense and it appears that you are seriously lacking in that department.

Oh, #28, you win. But, anyway. Two year old on the counter? Bad. You should know better. And like others have said, your hair probably wasn't even in the disposal. Even worse, it could've scared the infant and made him fall off the counter. Then it'd be a true YDI.

You do know the kitchen sink is dirtier than your toilet, right? I could think of a few thousand better ways to wash your hair than by sticking it down the drain where your 2 year-old can slice it off. Words cannot describe how much you deserve this.
