Today, my boss dropped a highly important and dense report on my desk that had to be finished by the end of the day. After the initial panic attack and hours of scrupulous work, I finished. She then asked me to pick up the revised copy, where my name was replaced with hers. FML

Today, due to being stressed and overwhelmed by my tasks, I made a mistake and completed a few of my colleagues' tasks as well. When I informed my boss about it, he said that I did an outstanding job, but I shouldn't have messed with other people's documents. As a result, my promised raise is cancelled. FML

Today, I finished a huge project for work. It took 3+ days and I was very proud of it. Except when I submitted it to my boss, he said that he'd already asked another person to do it. He used that person's project, not mine. FML

Today, I finished a very important but annoying presentation that took four hours to complete. Only after writing a paragraph to explain the presentation and sending it to my boss did I realize that I saved the document as "Shit I have to do to get a promotion." FML

Today, I had a huge amount of work to get through. Two colleagues offered to help, because one had nothing else to do, and the other couldn't work until I was done. My boss got really pissed at me for "making" them do my job and wasting their time. FML

Today, I was fired because of a "poorly executed" task. My boss claims that I just copypasted an existing document in a new file; I was instructed exactly to take the document and move its content to a new table without changing anything. It was discussed beforehand, but looks like his own messages are not a proof. FML

Today, my boss asked if I could spare a few minutes to finish off the last of his paperwork backlog. I'm pretty desperate for a raise, so I said sure. Turns out the "small", "should-take-a-few-minutes" backlog consists of 3 desk-high stacks of documents. Goodbye, cruel world. FML

Definitely take this to her boss, do not stand up for that at all. If nothing happens, start looking for another job ASAP. Nobody deserves to be treated like that in a workplace.

Why is everyone (almost, except for 25) on OPs side? Really? "Oh, its my work". No, you get paid to do stuff like that. That's your job. It's your boss's job to decide what tasks you do that are relevant to your job. Cries of "plagiarism", and "that's illegal", and "you shouldn't be treated like that - go to her boss". No. Your boss is responsible for that department. Whether it had your name on it or not, doesn't matter. It's a damn report that your boss is ultimately responsible for. Maybe her name needed to be on it because it needed a name to the department and her bosses don't know who OP is, and , and wouldn't care that some nameless underling made the report?

Welcome to being an adult. Now is the time to climb the ladder, become the manager, and show everyone how to be a LEADER instead of a BOSS. (Hint: leaders participate and work with underlings, by example. Bosses tell people what to do and take credit for success and pass blame down for failures.)
