Today, my wife dumped me because I have a non-operable brain tumour. It’s not going to kill me, just gives me intermittent symptoms resembling a stroke. She said she couldn’t handle being my carer and left. I don’t need a carer, sometimes I just need to sit until the symptoms go away. FML

Statistics are not in your favour, friend. The majority of the time it's the husband who cuts and runs or sees a sick wife as a reason to boff anything they can get. It's one of the things cancer nurses are unofficial therapists for. Something like 21% of men walk out on their wives the instant they can't serve the man's needs anymore. Something like 3% of women leave their husbands when they get sick. So exactly which is the selfish gender here? This one is in a very low percentage. Maybe you should do some googling, touch base with reality and think about your rancid sexism?
