Bass players unite

Today, it's been a year since I graduated high school and nobody, not even my own friends, has hit me up since then. I may as well be dead to them. I was in a band, but I'm now realising they only pretended to be nice to me since I was the only person in the school who knew how to play bass. I haven't talked to a soul other than my family and myself since. FML

Have you hit them up? Text works both ways.

Communication is a two way street. But also consider this an opportunity to find new friends. I went to the US Navy right after high school and lost all contact with people I knew prior but made way better friends while in, some I talk to still today while I haven’t been bothered with anyone from high school

High school graduation is an important threshold. Most either start out their adult lives with a job or move onto college or career training with the goal of starting their adult lives a little later. And some don’t grow up… People have lives and interests. They often change interests as their stage in life changes. Don’t expect everything to remain the same when most of your classmates have moved on with their lives.
