I feel like you came here expecting pity from people and I honestly can't understand why... This was your choice, made even worse by the fact that you know what it feels like to be cheated on (and hated it so much you left him) and you're now inflicting the same pain on your current S/O. Like most of the people here, I think you absolutely deserve whatever disaster comes of this situation. You're a selfish, cowardly individual, unwilling to end your current relationship because you already know that what your ex will do if you go back and you'd rather keep your security blanket, no matter how much you hurt another person. Disgusting.
