Today, I got flowers sent to my work, I happily opened them in front of my co-workers thinking they were from my crush, I open the card to see "Love you, from mom". My mother thinks my love life is so pathetic, thats she needs to send me flowers to cheer me up. FML

Today, it was my birthday and everyone in the office chipped in to buy me a card, and nothing but a card. It had a pre-written message on it and a space to write "Love, *insert name*" where everyone signed their names. The "Love" was crossed out and replaced with "From". FML

She loves you enough to do that for you. Try appreciating that she took the time to. You don't need a man to be your Valentine my mom has been giving me Valentines for as long as I remember. Just tell her you know its from her and you love her for thinking of you.

My daughter is 8 and I buy her Valentines chocolate, candy and a small toy. Even when she is 40, I will always buy her stuff for valentines day. That's what moms do.
