Today, my boyfriend's mother wants us to break up because she has no confidence in our relationship, and believes I am using him, which I'm not. She doesn't seem understand that we genuinely love each other, and refuses to listen to what he tells her. FML

Sounds like mama is having a hard time letting go of her baby boy to another woman! If your boyfriend starts siding with her, he's a mama's boy and isn't ready for commitment, either that or you do actually suck.

Today, I decided to tell this girl I like how I feel. I surprised her with roses and chocolates for her birthday and poured my heart out to her, promising to treat her like a queen. She snorted and told me that eventually I’ll “leave her” like all the others, and to “tell that cockamamie bullshit to someone else.” FML
