Today, I was trying to improve my relationship with my mother, so I asked how her day was. She responded with “Do you really care?” and then stomped off in her heels so hard I think I suffered hearing loss. FML

it sounds like there are some unresolved issues there. it is great you are trying to improve your relationship. maybe sit her down and explain that you do care and this is what you are trying to show. tell her you do want to spend time with her.

Today, I had breakfast at a hotel in Jamaica. The bill came to $1087 Jamaican Dollars, which is roughly $8.30 USD. When they swiped my Visa card, the hotel accidentally charged me $1087 USD. That's the most expensive omelet I've had in my life. FML

Today, I returned home from college for the first time in a month. I went to my bedroom and found a nice gift bag on my dresser. Thinking it was a Valentine's gift, I opened it. My dog's ashes were in a tin inside. This is how I found out my dog died since I was away. FML
