Today, my boss was angry at me because I had filed a complaint about him refusing to change our phone service to something more reliable. Later, a customer called him and said I had hung up on him. I got fired. I didn't hang up on the customer, the phone service just dropped the call. FML

Today, I was fired because I spoke up about a supervisor mistreating me. The assistant VP spent the meeting demeaning me to “teach me a lesson” and then said she was firing me because I “stirred the pot." Man, I really loved that job but I won’t miss the toxic work culture. FML

Try being a bank auditor! Following the rules is a major plus there! They also get paid good money. If I could sit still long enough I would, but that's not one of my strong suits.

I can see that happening. In my last store we had people complain that we were too nice! Well I guess some people want crap customer service? sorry OP
